Course Description
Leaders are hungry to elevate their executive presence in order to infuse energy, trust, and influence into teams that are now weary and distracted in virtual meetings. Exerting influence, showing support, and keeping people engaged and motivated is more challenging now than ever.
In this interactive training, leaders will learn the tools to elevate their executive presence, elevate their leadership, and engage their teams in the virtual space:
- Trust: Establish trust and credibility with your teams online through language and action.
- Listen: Identify good and bad virtual listening skills and understand how they affect your team.
- Body Language: Understand the importance of body language on camera – what works and what doesn’t work – to ensure your message is being received as intended.
- Company Culture: Build and maintain a positive team culture virtually using authenticity and fun.
- Appearance: Many leaders are still in the dark, literally. We will make sure lighting and eyeline with the camera are creating a positive executive presence.
Meet Your Instructor:
Madeleine Pollak, founder of Pollak Productions Consulting, is a leadership and public speaking coach, on-camera media trainer, and six-time Emmy Award-winning producer, writer, director. She has interviewed over a thousand people and has helped many secure jobs.
Madeleine has a down to earth yet direct approach that makes clients feel at ease instantly. Her unique set of skills, including writing, directing, interviewing, body language, story editing and messaging helps each of her clients succeed. She brings a hearty laugh and keen sense of intuition to her work.
Madeleine has coached, directed, trained and interviewed executives, doctors, lawyers, teachers, engineers and people from all walks of life and around the globe.
She holds an MFA in theatre from the National Theatre Conservatory, studied drama with Yale in Oxford, and holds a BA from Oberlin College. She is also a National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS) Alumnus.
